Pastor Bob Parker
Dr. Bob and Janice Parker came to Boulevard Baptist Church in March of 2023 and count it a great privilege to serve the Lord and this church family.
The Parkers met while attending Bible college and were married on July 30, 1983. Since the beginning of their marriage, they have faithfully served in the ministry together. God has blessed them with five daughters. Two of their daughters are married to pastors, and all of their children are actively serving the Lord in their local churches in various capacities. They are also blessed with sixteen grandchildren and consider their children and their families to be their greatest testimony and legacy. They remain deeply thankful for God’s abundant blessings on their home.
Pastor and Mrs. Parker have enjoyed a fruitful ministry together over the years. In more recent seasons of ministry, they have been involved in planting churches, restoring struggling churches, and assisting churches in finding pastors. Brother Parker has also preached revivals, missions conferences, and family conferences throughout the United States as well as on foreign fields.
Several years ago, God granted Brother Parker a unique desire of his heart. As a young man, he had an interest in law enforcement, and while pastoring in Mississippi, the Lord opened the door for him to serve in that field. He has since worked with several law enforcement agencies as a chaplain and also serves as an NRA instructor.
Pastor and Mrs. Parker are grateful for the opportunity to serve at Boulevard Baptist Church and look forward with anticipation to many more years of God’s continued blessings and faithful ministry.
Jacob Gaston Music Director
Hello! We are Jacob, Brittany and Paisley Gaston. We serve in several capacities here at Boulevard Baptist Church, with Jacob being the Music Minister and Brittany being the main church pianist. Brittany also serves as an assistant to the church Secretary and teaches at Boulevard Baptist Christian School! Brittany grew up in a pastor’s home in Columbus, Indiana, where she learned much about ministry. Jacob grew up in Burleson, Texas and attended Boulevard his entire life. They met at Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the fall of 2019. After a few years, they began to grow closer, and were married in 2022. Jacob Graduated in 2023 with a Music Minister degree, and the Lord worked in great ways to bring us to Boulevard Baptist Church! As we continue to serve, we are excited to see the Lord work and grow for His glory!
Pastor Josiah Griggs Youth Pastor
Josiah and Karla Griggs have a strong heart for teenagers and a desire to help young people grow in their walk with the Lord.
They met while attending Providence Baptist College in Elgin, Illinois, where Josiah prepared for ministry and answered God’s call to preach, and Karla studied education with a passion for helping and guiding young lives. After graduating, they were married in July of 2023 and spent their first years in ministry serving in Illinois before the Lord led them to Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas in October of 2025.
Josiah serves as the Youth Pastor and teaches the Teen Sunday School class, working to build a Christ-centered, Bible-grounded environment where teenagers can grow spiritually, build strong convictions, and develop a real walk with God. Karla faithfully assists throughout the youth ministry, helps organize activities, connects with young people and families, and manages the church’s social media presence.
Together, they are committed to helping teenagers know Christ, stand for truth, and prepare for God’s will in their lives. They love investing in young people and are excited to serve the teens and families of Boulevard Baptist Church.
